CBC Myths vs Facts
Common Myths
- CBC is just extra homework for parents.
- It abandons core subjects like Maths and English.
- Assessment is chaotic and unstructured.
The Facts
- Projects are age-appropriate and teacher-guided; parents provide support, not primary instruction.
- Core literacy and numeracy are strengthened through integrated learning areas.
- Assessment is clearly weighted and KNEC-controlled.

Academic Excellence
Thika Primrose School maintains academic excellence by upholding the recommended teacher-student ratio, giving each learner the attention they need to excel. We foster a close teacher-parent relationship and encourage parents to play an active, supportive role in their child's education. Admissions are open year-round to learners of every gender, race, religion, or culture.
Admissions
We accept students throughout the year. Procedures differ slightly by entry point:
- Children aged 2½ - 3 years: visit or call to reserve a space.
- Older learners: admission follows a KES 1,000 assessment test and review of the previous school report.
- After a successful assessment, collect the application form and fee structure from the Admissions Office.
- School visits: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 3 pm.
